The company
Pokhara is home. The Annapurna is the work.
Upper Path Treks And Tours is a locally owned trekking company in Pokhara-6, Lakeside. Our guides grew up on these paths. We run small departures, speak plainly about weather and fitness, and stay reachable on WhatsApp, Viber, WeChat, and email — before you walk and after you come down.
A Pokhara base, not a Kathmandu desk
We live by Phewa Lake. Permits, porters, and rest days start here — not from a catalogue in another city. When weather shifts a trail, the people who walk it are in the same town as you.
Guides who know these paths by season
The same small team leads ABC, the Circuit, Poon Hill, Mardi, Dhampus, and Khopra. They pace for lungs, not for a clock. Rafting days use licensed river guides on the Kaligandaki.
Licences, ACAP, TIMS
Treks run with Annapurna Conservation Area permits and TIMS as required. Rafting follows Nepal river-safety rules and age limits we list on each trip. We will not pretend a monsoon week is a clear week.
Why local still matters
Money stays in Pokhara: lodges, porters, drivers, river crews. You talk to a manager, not a call centre. There is no customer login because a trek is a conversation, not a dashboard.
